Pardon to Raymond Martyn of Makau, in consideration of good service done by him in the king's wars in the duchy of Aquitaine, on the king's suit for the death of Dominic de Casteyn and of any consequent banishment; the lords of Montferrand and Musshydan having testified before the king that in a hot conflict which happened by chance he after being twice wounded by him killed the said Dominic as it were in self defence. Directed to all seneschals, constables, castellains, reeves, mayors, bailiffs, officers and other ministers in the said duchy.

Licence, until the Assumption, for Bonifacede Castelleto, purveyor of victuals for the expenses of the households of Talleyrand, cardinal bishop of Albano, and Nicholas, cardinal priest of St. Vitalis, who are to come to England for a treaty between the kingand his adversary of France about Midsummer, to make provision in the counties of Lincoln, Cambridge and Norfolk, of wheat, beans and oats for those households, and of carriage for the same to London. Protection and safe conduct, until Michaelmas, for the bishop of Terouane coming to England for the day ordained for the treaty between the king and his adversary of France in London about Midsummer; with thirty horsemen and their grooms, harness, money and other things.                    ByK.

Protection, until the Assumption, for ministers and servants of the aforesaid Nicholas, cardinal priest of St. Vitalis, purveying and bringing to London hay, oats, litter, flesh, fish, corn and other victuals for the expenses of his household for his stay in England.

At the supplication of Talleyrand, cardinal bishop of Albano, dean of the church of St. Peter,York, who has come to the king in England as the pope's nuncio, the king has granted that the king's clerks John de Wynewyk, treasurer, and David de Wollore, Henry de Ingelby and Master Thomas de la Mare, canons, of the said church, and Master Hugh Pelegrini, treasurer of the church of Lichfieldw,hom he has appointed before the king as his general attorneys in England, may make other attorneys or an attorney to sue and defend for him for all the time in which he shall be dean.        By K.

Commission to William Shawe and Bandet Marescal to follow certain felons who have stolen four horses of the cardinal of Peragort at Holebourn, to arrest the felons with the horses and bring them back to the city of London, to deliver the bodies of the felons to the sheriffs of London to be kept in Neugate gaol until they be delivered according to law and the custom of the realm, and to deliver the horses likewise to the said sheriffs to be kept until the felons obtain justice at the suit of those from whom the horses were stolen or other order.      By K
