Grant for life, to the king's yeoman Richard Paneter of an annuity of 20l. at the exchequer, in recompence for the office of the defaults of the king's court of Bordeaux with the keeping of his tower of Bordeaux and the conciergerie thereof, which the king lately granted to him but Edward, prince of Wales, when he was the king's lieutenant in Gascony, afterwards granted to Augerius de Monte Alto, lord of Mussidon.

Grant to Augeriusde MonteAlto, lord of Mussidan, Roger de Mortuo Mari, earl of March, John ChaundosM, orimund, lord of Lesparre, Amaneu de Pomeriis, Emery de Taft, and Bertrand de Preissak, knights, who are bound by their writing to the king in 2,000l. to be paid at the Purification, that if they or any other in their name pay him 1,000l. on the said feast, the writing shall be quashed and of none effect.               ByK.
